It would be quite necessary to read the page before this one in order to understand what is going on. Great point.

Re: Sparks-Page 6

I love how the last panel blurs, like you can feel they're hitting the breaks!

The story seems disconnected from the rest of Sparks (so far) and the mention of the fiction tunnel kinda of comes out of nowhere. I think that's the fault of the big gap between pages. I'm sure it'll read much better all together in one sitting.

Re: Sparks-Page 5

Next update is actually up right now, lady.

Re: Sparks-Page 5

When's the next update? Great job so far!

Re: Spanish Inquisition #1

Ah, this brings back memories... except in my case, the demon was Piccolo from DBZ, lol. Great job xD

Re: Spanish Inquisition #1

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I had a blast colouring the comic in this style - I'm really looking forward to doing more.
-Cril

Re: Spanish Inquisition #1

Heh, thanks for that in depth analysis of my "hispanic wit", Ronny.

Re: Spanish Inquisition #1

Another Alex comic, hehe. Based solely on the first page, one can see it containing Alex's hispanic wit and the mix of the comedic with the mundane, almost one and the same. With its nostalgic feel and dual-tone color scheme, one feels the comic is unaltered and that's what makes it real and hit home for your audience. Good work Alex. And Frank and Chris, I like the juxtaposition of the cartooney with the real. Well done.

Re: Spanish Inquisition #1

Thanks for all the comments, guys. Yeah, this is actually a scene that played out when I was a kid.

Re: Spanish Inquisition #1

It is different from what I am used to seeing from you guys but I think it really kool and just as funny I can’t wait to read more…and yes Alex “you need Jesus in your Heart”.

Re: Spanish Inquisition #1

Oh my gosh, Alex how cool. Your own comic strip! lol It's well illistrated.
I can't wait to see the whole thing. When there's more, i'll share it with my friends. :)
Keep us posted on the updates.
<33

Re: Spanish Inquisition #1

Nice illustration. I really look forward to more. Love the art style and the color pallette - and it's too funny to see Worf popping up onscreen and being called a 'demon.' This is a great idea for a series, and I love the title.

Re: Sparks-Page 5

Another great page, and I love all that metafiction stuff (of a story within a story). The 3rd panel looks like the mouthless guy is giving him the blue glowing finger.

Re: Sparks-Page 4

Yeah, I agree this is your best pages yet.
